Driving While License Suspended

In Texas, Driving While License (Invalid) is usually a class C Misdemeanor punishable up to a $500.00 fine. It may be a class B Misdemeanor if you have been previously convicted for the same offense or your driver's license has previously been suspended as the result of an offense involving the operation of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Texas Transportation Code § 521.457. A class B misdemeanor is punishable up to 180 days in the county jail and a fine of $2000.00.
