Michael G. Salazar, Jr., Esquire is the founding attorney of The Salazar Law Firm, a Professional Association. The Salazar Law Firm is actively engaged in the daily practice of law at both the criminal and civil levels.

Michael received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance in 1987 from Saint Leo University. He attended the University of Utah College of Law and received his Juris Doctor Law Degree (JD) in 1991 from Nova Southeastern University.

Michael is a member of the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida and the Texas Bar. He is also a member of the Broward County Bar Association, Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and the Hispanic Bar Association.

Michael has been in private practice since 1991. Since that time, he has represented thousands of clients in various legal matters including Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law, Real Estate, and Traffic Law. Michael has 20 years of personally representing thousands of clients accused of various crimes in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties. In the late 1990s and early years of 2000, while in private practice, Michael was appointed Special Public Defender in many criminal cases in Broward County.

Michael has further negotiated and secured millions of dollars in settlements on behalf of clients injured in all types of accidents. Specifically, Michael has 20 years of representing clients with severe and catastrophic injuries including fractures, disfigurements, amputations, and paralysis.

Michael's extensive experience and legal knowledge as well as the experience of his legal staff are invaluable to anyone accused of a crime or injured in an accident.
